About Me

I have been a qualified counsellor for 14 years. I have a BA (Hons) degree in counselling and a Post Grad. Advanced Certificate in Counselling for Depression (CfD). I am an accredited registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy

I have a broad range of experience working for the NHS, Employment Assistance Programmes and also in the charity/voluntary sectors, delivering both short term and long term counselling.
I have extensive experience of working with people who suffer from depression, loss and bereavement , addictions, trauma and abuse.

How I work

I work in an integrative way with my practise being underpinned by the person-centred approach.
This means I will respect your individuality and work with you in a way that is sensitive, open honest and non-judgemental. This enables you to find your own answers rather than giving advice and direction.

How can I help you

Sometimes we all lose direction and our focus, or we become overwhelmed by the events and relationships. I can offer you counselling in a confidential, warm and welcoming space, where you can talk freely about your issues without judgement or criticism. I can also offer telephone counselling and online counselling

Counselling can give you the opportunity to pause, breathe, reflect and be heard. Through building a trusting relationship we will work together with the issues you bring and find understanding of the thoughts, feelings and behaviours that you are experiencing
